Metallic Reduction

ACCE0030

Sold by Natural Systems. More information

A metallic reduction is what you need to join the extraction tubes that you use when they do not coincide in section with filters, extractors or other tubes that you already have installed.

Format:

A metallic reduction is an accessory that sooner or later every grower needs to acquire. It is not uncommon for some element of the crop to have to be changed over time. But perhaps you should not invest in a new one if you can take advantage of another that we already have or borrow. Or if new material has to be replaced and the available material does not match what we already have, the only solution is a section reduction.

There are cheaper plastic reductions, however, for sections greater than 200 mm, only metal ones are advisable, since at higher flow rates the vibrations can cause the plastic to deform a few millimeters, and although imperceptible to the eye, noticeable to the ear. that a gap of that size will be acoustically perceived as an unwanted hiss

In the same way, it is not recommended to use two reductions put in series in the same conduction. When the air flow is reduced, the pressure increases, and with it the noise. Going from 315 mm, for example, to 200 mm, in addition to the noise, will make the air rise in speed, and it will pass fast and noisy through the filter without giving rise to a correct purification.
