It implements NDIR technology, also called non-dispersive infrared, for the detection of Co 2 . The capacity of its probe has a measurement range that goes from 0 to 5,000 ppm, with a unique sensitivity of +/- 15 ppm, or what is the same, a deviation of only 1%. In addition, its useful life is greater than 15 years without the need for maintenance.

With this high sensitivity, the Novatec Indoor Digital CO2 Controller is one of the most reliable on the market. You just have to choose the desired CO 2 level and connect it to any electrical CO 2 generation system, either to the solenoid valve of a CO 2 bottle, or to the plug of a butane-based generator or to any other generating device.

It incorporates an outlet with a 220V plug where you can connect the CO 2 generator, and another outlet with a 220V plug for connecting an extractor that is activated by excess or by default of CO 2 .

The importance of having a reliable control over CO 2 levels lies in the fact that the plant needs this gas to feed itself and generate tissues through photosynthesis. Therefore, if we adjust the gas supply well, our plants will produce more.

But with photosynthesis the plant consumes raw sap, light and CO 2 and returns O 2 and energy, which it will then use to synthesize carbohydrates. In the absence of light, the process stops and the plants stop absorbing CO 2 . The Novatec Indoor Digital CO2 Controller prevents this situation thanks to a photosensitive sensor that detects when the grow lamps are turned off and, at that moment, disconnects and cancels gas production.
