In relation to our plants, we will observe the concentration of calcium and magnesium. This concentration defines what which we call water hardness. Water with between 100 and 150 milligrams of calcium per liter is considered optimal water. A Soft water with less than 50 mg calcium per liter should be supplemented with Hy-Pro Cal-Mag.

Magnesium (mobile) is the central atom of the chlorophyll molecule. Neutralizes the acids in the substrate and toxic compounds generated by the plant. Helps enzymes make carbohydrates and sugars necessary for the formation of flowers. It is considered an amendment to add magnesium to soils with a pH acid.

Calcium (immobile) is essential in the formation and growth of cells. Ensures the permeability of the membrane and cell structure, especially at the ends of the root where calcium helps to produce walls strong and permeable to nutrients

How to use:

• Use Cal-Mag throughout the growing phases.
• Shake the Cal-Mag.
• Mix 5 ml per 1 liter of water with each irrigation before adding nutrients.
